Alan Robert is the acclaimed creator behind the best-selling Beauty of Horror book series with over 700,000 copies sold worldwide, published by IDW and distributed by Penguin Random House. Dubbed “The King of Horror Coloring Books” by Revolver, Robert’s hit franchise stars the fan-favorite character Ghouliana and spans multiple volumes, storybooks, NECA action figures, journals, tarot decks, puzzles, and more. A stop-motion animation starring Ghouliana went viral with nearly 8 million views, and was featured on MovieWeb.
Robert made waves in the comic book world with his psychological thriller Crawl to Me, which won “Best in Print” at the Golden Gore Awards and “Best Mini-Series” from ComicMonsters.com. His earlier horror graphic novels, Wire Hangers and Killogy, also garnered critical acclaim, with Fangoria calling Killogy “an instant classic.”

Beyond illustration, Robert is best known as the bassist and founding member of the hard rock band Life of Agony.
