Yesterday, I received the ginormous art book TOME from 44Flood. This thing is a monster! I'm extremely proud and incredibly humbled that my artwork was included alongside some of the most talented folks I know. Contributors included Dave McKean, Bill Sienkiewicz, Menton3, Riley Rossmo, Ben Templesmith, and many, many others. The theme was Vampirism... here's my piece "Cups Floweth Over." IDW Limited is pleased to announce a special new limited edition hardcover of Alan Robert’s Crawl To Me. From rock star to all-star comic creator, Life of Agony’s Alan Robert brings intensity and electricity to everything he does. This critically acclaimed, award-winning mini-series will be presented in a custom case and cover, with hand-drawn artwork by the book’s creator and artist. Presented in the multi-tiered IDW Limited fashion, fans will be able to select the level of original artwork and casing they’d like to purchase according to their budget and desire.
“To witness this little story develop into what it’s become is quite mind-blowing to me,” Says Robert. “It’s true horror in the sense that it’s meant to scare the reader to the core. Not just visually, but emotionally, too. Edgar is as terrifying as villains get and not just because of the vulgarities we actually see on the page, but more so, because of what’s implied in between the panels.”
Crawl To Me is both written and illustrated by Robert, with a beautifully painted dust jacket by artist menton3 of Monocyte fame. It’s part psychological thriller and part haunted house story. Ain’t it Cool News praised it as being “Gorgeous and terrifying,” while Fangoria raved, “Readers will be blown away by the story and art of this psychological thriller.” Crawl To Me was awarded Best Mini-Series of the Year by ComicMonsters.com and Hollywood is already taking notice. Crawl To Me is currently in development to become a live-action feature film, with a screenplay penned by screenwriters T.J Cimfel and David White.
“Alan’s like no one we’ve ever seen. Incredibly talented, incredibly motivated.” Says Editor-in-Chief Chris Ryall. “He comes in with these amazing, really dark, really twisted ideas. And you’re thinking, there’s no way a story like that can be pulled off in such a tight page count, and then the pages get here, and they’re complete home runs. Any series from Alan is a thrill.”
Alan Robert is a man of many talents, and they are fully on display in the pages of Crawl To Me. The book is available for pre-order immediately on www.idwlimited.com with a ship date of mid-November.

In 2010, Life of Agony bassist/Spoiler NYC front man, Alan Robert, joined forces with IDW Publishing to release his horror/conspiracy graphic novel Wire Hangers. The collected series (issues 1-4) was created, written and illustrated by Robert. The book is IN STORES NOW. Horror fans should be excited about the cover (designed by Sam Shearon), which features slasher fan-favorite, Nick Principe (Laid to Rest's Chrome Skull) in full make-up as Wire Hangers anti-hero, Cypra. Hollywood's master creature designer, Robert Hall and his Almost Human SFX studio provided the Cypra costume design. Robert Hall's work has appeared in such popular films as Devil, Paranormal Activity 2 and The Crazies. The graphic novel also features an introduction written by legendary comic artist, Michael J. Zeck (The Punisher Limited Series) as well as an in-depth, exclusive interview with Wire Hangers creator, Alan Robert, by A Comic Book Orange's Casey McKinnon.
